Adriana joined CDM after working as union organizer supporting efforts to organize health care workers and nail salon workers. Most recently, Adriana was the Workers’ Rights Paralegal at the Community Development Project, Urban Justice Center in New York. During her time as a paralegal, Adriana supported wage and hour, and retaliation cases referred to the practice by grassroots worker centers who represent domestic workers, construction workers, day laborers, and restaurant workers. Adriana obtained her B.A. from the University of California, Riverside in Chicano Studies and Public Policy, and her Master of Labor Studies degree from the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies.
