Irving Angeles is CDM’s Data Analyst for the Protein Processing Worker Project. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California Los Angeles with a major in environmental studies and minor in geographic information systems. Irving has previously worked in oncology clinical research and researching transportation access and health disparities in California. Irving grew up in South Central Los Angeles and here he cultivated his passion for advocating for underserved communities and social justice. Irving has used spatial statistics and data analysis to analyze access to health resources in underserved communities in Los Angeles and to investigate the health & safety of pork processing workers in the City of Vernon.
