Labor Day holds special significance for all of us at Centro de los Derechos del Migrante. Not only do we honor the courage and collective achievements of workers fighting for better working conditions and a better future, but we also celebrate our anniversary. And this year, we are celebrating a milestone—CDM’s 20th anniversary!
As we reflect on the past two decades, we want to take a moment to thank you—our supporters, allies, and alumns—for being with us every step of the way. Thanks to your support we’ve achieved significant policy and legal victories, provided direct support to thousands of workers, and made significant strides toward justice alongside migrant workers. Together, we’ve broken barriers, lifted migrant voices, and sparked change across industries and borders.
We invite you to join us in celebrating this milestone. Save the date for our anniversary events in Mexico City and Washington DC. Let’s celebrate together the progress we’ve made—and the work still to come.
