Abigail Kerfoot is CDM’s Deputy Legal Director. Abigail has represented hundreds of migrant and immigrant workers in litigation to defend their workplace rights, including labor trafficking litigation and class actions under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.
Abigail received her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis and her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law. At UCLA, she specialized in Critical Race Studies and the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy. She has previously worked alongside incarcerated women, human rights defenders, children in deportation proceedings, and indigenous peoples in the U.S. and Mexico to assert their legal and human rights.
