Andy Choi is CDM’s Project Manager and Senior Assistant to the Executive Director. He holds a B.A. in Spanish with a minor in Sociology and an M.A. in Teaching Spanish, both from Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, MD. From 2012 to 2018, Andy served as a volunteer in Managua, Nicaragua, supporting the Development Office at CANTERA, Center for Communication and Popular Education, where he worked with international volunteers and immersion groups. Upon his return to the U.S. in 2018, Andy worked at Loyola University Maryland’s Center for Community, Service, and Justice, overseeing the undergraduate student intern program, supporting students in their professional development and growth. Andy’s passion for migrant worker rights and racial equity has been shaped by his previous experiences, and he hopes to continue learning how to push for positive systemic change.
