For almost seven years, Elizabeth Mauldin energized and inspired our organization, allies and migrant workers with her brilliance, poise, and unshakable commitment to social justice as part of the CDM team.

In September, we announced the creation of the Elizabeth Mauldin Memorial Advocate for Migrant Women (EMMA) to honor her memory. Today, thanks to your generous donations and the matches from our Board on Giving Tuesday, we are now accepting applications for the first EMMA!

The EMMA will be an emerging leader working across CDM’s outreach, legal and policy areas to ensure that the voices and experiences of migrant worker women are reflected in the policies that affect them – someone whose time at CDM will launch a career of incalculable impact in the pursuit of justice.

You can view the fellowship description here.

So many of you have great connections in the nonprofit, social justice and academic worlds, so we’d love it if you could share details about the EMMA across your networks.

Please share with anyone who might be or know a good candidate!

We’re so excited to launch the EMMA position – ensuring we can fulfill the vision of a Elizabeth, a tireless fighter whose spirit and light guide us every day.
